Why should I pledge?
Making a financial pledge to the church is about more than dollars and cents and budgets, though those are important! The more faithful our giving, the more ministry we can do. But making a commitment to proportional, planned giving is part of discipleship and living into the kingdom of God Jesus proclaimed. Our commitment to giving comes from deep gratitude and thanksgiving to God. When all give sacrificially and give from the heart out of gratitude God does amazing things.
Do I have to pledge to attend St Aidan's?
NO. All are welcome at St Aidan's regardless of whether they pledge.
Do I have to pay my pledge all at once?
No. Many people fulfill their pledge weekly, monthly, or quarterly. And occasionally, yearly. Most use offering envelopes to place their pledge in the plate on Sunday mornings as part of their worship. But pledges and gifts may be given directly and confidentially to the church office at any time.
*We hope to have an online giving option soon, for greater convenience.
What if I need to change my pledge amount?
That's never a problem. Just call or email the church office at any time. We know that people's financial circumstances change all the time, both up and down, and all conversations will be kept confidential.
How can I obtain a pledge card?
2017 Pledge cards can be found on the welcome wall in the front foyer of the church, or a PDF version may be downloaded HERE. Or you may use the online form below.
I've filled out my pledge card, now what do I do?
