A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

COMMON GIVING QUESTIONS
Making a financial pledge to the church is about more than dollars and cents and budgets, though those are important! The more faithful our giving the more ministry we can do, and the more responsive we can be in times of need. Our commitment to giving comes from deep gratitude and thanksgiving to God. When all give together sacrificially, and give from the heart out of gratitude, God does amazing things in us and through us.
NO. All are welcome at St Aidan’s regardless of whether they pledge.
NO. Many people fulfill their pledge weekly, monthly, or quarterly. And occasionally, yearly. Most use offering envelopes to place their pledge in the plate on Sunday mornings as part of their worship. But pledges and gifts may be given directly and confidentially to the church by mail, or placed in the lockbox at the main entrance, at any time.
That’s never a problem. Just call or email the church office at any time. We know that people’s financial circumstances change all the time, both up and down (especially during a pandemic), and all conversations will be kept confidential.
2023 Pledge cards can be found on the welcome wall at the main entrance of the church. New 2024 pledge cards will be sent to every household with our annual Stewardship mailing in mid-October, and added to the welcome wall thereafter.
Great! You have choices…
If it’s October, hang onto your pledge card and bring it with you to church on November 6th (All Saints Sunday) so that it can be blessed on the altar.
OR mail your pledge card to St Aidan’s at any time (PO Box 145, Stanwood, WA 98292) in care of the Pledge Recorder, JoAnn Moffett, or put it in the lockbox at the front door.
